Product Description: ZINAK Synthetic Red Oxide Primer based on high quality synthetic alkyd and light fast and opacifying pigment. ZINAK Synthetic Red Oxide Primer is a time tested and proven. ZINAK Synthetic Red Oxide Primer gives a hard, durable and matt film with smooth finish. It has excellent adhesion and rust inhibiting properties that prevent the spread of corrosion.

Recommended Usage: ZINAK Synthetic Red Oxide Primer is recommended for interior and exterior ferrous metal surfaces.

Technical Data

Coverage                            : On smooth non absorbent surfaces 90 to 120 sq.fit/Ltr/coat.**

Drying Time                       : Surface dry: 5 hrs. Hard dry: Over night.

Gloss level                          : Matt

Thinning with                     : 20% to 30% by volume with ZINAK GP Thinner or Mineral Turpentine Oil.

Flash Point                          : Not below 30°C.

Self Life                              : 1 year from date of manufacture original tightly closed container away from

                                                direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Recoating Period                : 8 to 10 Hrs. Approximate.

Method of application        : Brush, Spray or Roller.

Surface Preparation: Ensure that surface should be clean, free from all defective or poorly adhering material like oil, grease, wax, rust, dust, etc. Remove all loose or poorly adhering materials by rubbing down using abrasive paper and thereafter wipe off. Apply a coat of ZINAK Red Oxide Primer followed by putty(if required) to level the dents and make the surface uniform. Apply again a coat of ZINAK Red Oxide Primer.

Safety Feature: Flammable.

Shade Range: Red Oxide

Precautions:

* Away from the source of ignition and fire.

* Avoid extra thinning for better result.

* Stir well before use.

* The container must be tightly closed when not in use.

* Keep away from direct sunlight, hear and children.

* In case of eye/skin contact wash plenty of water.

* Use safety equipments like hand gloves, safety goggles/glasses & face mask.

* Store in well ventilated location.

* Do not apply temperature below 10°C.
