Mechanical stirring may be necessary before usage. Method of application : Airless spray, Air Spray or Brush ** Actual covering capacity may vary depending upon the surface condition, temperature, wind velocity, application skill, surface roughness, surface porosity and shade to shade. Surface Preparation: Remove oil and grease etc. thoroughly with suitable detergent. Remove salts and other contaminants by high pressure fresh water cleaning. Clean damaged areas thoroughly by power tool cleaning or by abrasive blasting. Improved surface preparation will improve the performance of the product. Use appropriate Hollywood Epoxy Primer for better performance. Mixing Instructions: Temperature of Hollywood Full Gloss Epoxy Paint must be 20°C/68°F or above at the time of mixing. Stir each component separately before blending. Mix three parts by volume of Part A with one part by volume of Part B for three minutes with a low speed electric drill motor equipped with a mixing paddle. Application Conditions: Use only where application and curing can proceed at temperature above 10°C/50°F. Maximum relative humidity: 80%, preferably 40-60%. The temperature of the surface and that of the paint itself must also be above this limit. The optimal paint temperature for proper mixing, pumping and spraying is 15-25°C/59-77°F. In confined spaces provide adequate ventilation during application and drying. Application Process: *Airless Spray: Graco 45:1 or 56:1 or equivalent. Tip Size: 0.021-0.025”. Thinning: 5% by volume with Hollywood Epoxy Thinner.* *Air Spray: Air cap with E tip and needle. Moisture trap should be used between air supply and pressure pot. Thinning: 10-15% by volume with Hollywood Epoxy Thinner.* *Brush or Roller: Low nap rollers. Thinning: 5% by volume with Hollywood Epoxy Thinner.* *Amount of thinning affected by temperature conditions. Occurrence of standing water or droplets on the painted surface immediately after application may result in discolouration. Re-Coat Interval: 10°C (50°F) Minimum: 30 Hours - Maximum: 28 Days 20°C (68°F) Minimum: 10 Hours - Maximum: 21 Days 25°C (77°F) Minimum: 8 Hours - Maximum: 17 Days 30°C (86°F) Minimum: 5 Hours - Maximum: 14 Days Overcoating intervals related to later conditions of exposure: If the maximum overcoating interval is exceeded, roughening of the surface is necessary to ensure intercoat adhesion. All dust from sanding of blast roughening must be removed from the surface prior to the re-coat application. Avoid extra thinning for better result. Safety Feature: Take precautions to avoid skin and eye contact. Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause eye and skin irritation. If contact occurs, wash immediately and seek medical help. Use safety glasses with side shields and wear protective rubber gloves, face masks etc. Proper ventilation and protective measures must be provided during applications and drying period to keep solvent vapor concentrations within safe limit. All work involving the application and use of this product should be performed in compliance with all relevant local and national, Health, Safety & Environmental standers and regulations. Precautions: * Away from the source of ignition and fire. * Keep away from direct sunlight, heat and children. * Store in well ventilated location. * Stir well before use. * The container must be tightly closed when not in use.
